Yarn 9 Book-a-zine Now Age
This is my fourth purchase of a Scheepjes Book-a-zine. I buy them mostly to look at like a magazine (an expensive one), and to enjoy the designs. I have found the patterns difficult to follow: 1. they use UK crochet terms, so I always have to "translate" and 2. They don't have the space for photo tutorials, which I have become accustomed to by the same designers when they publish their own patterns. Many of the designs are inovative and creative enough, that stitch placement is really critical, and not as easy to gleen from a very brief pattern.
Ordered the bookazine. Took a little bit to get here but I love it!! Thanks, it was hard to find stateside.
Received my book yesterday afternoon! Originally purchased for a single pattern on the cover! Now after having the opportunity to look through the book I’m happy to say I will busy learning some new things❣️
Really neat patterns especially the Dreamcatcher which I will be making.
this is a great magazine. I have a few other scheepjes Book-a-zines, I wouldn’t make everything in there but there’s always at least one project that I could see myself making. The pictures are beautiful and the patterns are very original. The one con I see is that there are more knitting project than usual and I would rather crochet
