A Very Rainbow Blanket

Posted by Laura Jackson on

Tatsiana at Lilla Bjorn Crochet has another design!!

This one is so much fun to make and it uses the Metropolis Colour Pack or the Stone Washed River Washed Colour Pack along with 12 Black Onyx Stone Washed.  The Mosaic sections are fun to move around to make it your very own look.

Checkout Lilla Bjorn Crochet blog HERE to see the Metropolis Version and more details about the blanket.

  • On the Very Rainbow Blanket the version in Stone Washed River Washed has a different starting number of chains. So in order to have the correct number of stitches for the mosaic the increase and decrease are different then the metropolis version of the pattern.

  • Having one difficulty. On original Lillabjorn pattern, a decrease is done prior to changing to the mosiac pattern from the brioche. On the adaptation, it looks like an increase is done prior to changing to the mosaic pattern and a decrease before going back to the brioche. Can you clarify?

  • Hi Laura

In the original pattern the section between first stripe and mosaic is yarn A but in your pics it looks like yarn A. Is this the case? Thanks for clarifying

  • Hi Laura, So looking forward to starting this, but I am battling to understand why and how to do the inc and dec’s.
    Thanks

  • Hello this is Laura

    Some clarifications added.

Yarn A is Black Onyx in my blanket and Yarn B are your mini skeins.

Use your minis up completely and join the next color as you go.

Feel free to add as many or few mosaic as you like to customize to your own liking.
