Continually impressed

This is only the latest in a number of orders I’ve placed with Taemombo. Everything is of amazing quality and may I just say the packaging never ceases to make me happy. Absolutely gorgeous.

Softfun (not “shotgun”, as autocorrect (or “autocarrot”, as autocorrect) autocorrects) is indeed well named. It is both soft and fun!! I find the yarn easy to see (even rows done in black!), easy to work with, and it feels. So. Amazing. Good amount of slip, and it’s quite lightweight. An added bonus is the easy centre-pull tabs.

My only critique is the size of the ball; when working on larger projects it runs out pretty fast, and I’m doing a lot of joining. Granted, I’m doing an overlay afghan, so there’s going to be a lot of joining anyway. On one hand I’d rather have the option of getting a larger size, but on the other hand, I’m not chasing an enormous ball of tangled hell across the floor because Miss Thing (the cat) only goes after the good stuff.

Wonderful yarn!

I'm using this yarn to make my sister a dress. Really wonderful to work with, not at all splitty, pleasant and soft and nice and springy.

Softfun is Fun

Softfun does not disappoint. It works up beautifully, comes in a wide range of fun colours, and results in a durable fabric. Being a cotton acrylic blend it holds shape better than pure cotton and washes better than pure cotton.

The yarn is not soft AT ALL. I was very disappointed .
